moving FCE finished product to iDVD

if you are finished & have put in chapters if desired, export as QT self-contained, then you can drop that into iDVD.

You don't necessarily have to make the movie self-contained.

Export as Quicktime Movie, not any flavour of Quicktime Conversion; if you uncheck Make Self Contained you will create a smaller reference movie. This will work in iDVD just fine as long as you are keeping everything on the same movie.

If you have chapter markers select Chapter Markers in the export window.
