Does iPod Touch have Self Diagnostics?

Does iPod Touch have built-in self diagnostic tools like the ones available on older iPod models? e.i. Restart the iPod and press and hold Menu and Previous keys at the same time. I mean people say it has its built-in operating system in it, so it has to have one. Does anybody know how to access it? thanks
