Converting flash shockwave file to a movie clip

Hi
Is it possible to convert a shockwave flash movie file to an avi, wma movie file to upload onto the internet or to put onto my i-pod? If there is special software to do it, could someone please point me in the right direction?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
