one more shot at this OT

i went to i DVD and it made me what i guess are jpegs
i am back to iphoto with an album name, all the photos i had for the book but i assume im in ALBUM MODE not slideshow mode or book mode. OK now please
tell me what to do. I go to the > brings me to slideshow and settings, i click on the first jpeg. then
once i have put a time and transition what do i do it save settings?
then go on to the next photo? is that how this works. it doesnt appear to be that way. this is very very unclear
would really like to get this down pat. please try once more

If you've got the jpgs files for each book page in an album select the album and click on the slideshow button in the lower toolbar. Once in the slideshow mode, click on the Setting button and set the basic parameters for the slideshow. Then in each slide you can hit the Adjust button to give that slide longer screentime and any special transition other than the one you selected in the Settings pane.

When you select your music I suggest you select it so that each slide will be on screen about 6-8 seconds including transitions. This will assure that the music will not loop and will be long enough for your slideshow when you select Scale slideshow to music. HOWEVER, many have complained that the syncing of the slideshow to the music does not work as intended and the music ends too soon.

If you find that to be the case, export your slideshow without music, import into iMovie HD 6 and add your audio tracks to it. Then you can go from there to iDVD.
