uploading iweb by ftp to blogger.com

I have read and read but have not been able to do this, despite a number of helpful posts. I downloaded cyberduck as the ftp program. I suspect my problem relates to not being sure what "server" means (and the other places needing to be filled out...for example do I need the user id and password for my apple? or for blogger.com? or for my internet connection?
If anyone could post a 1..2..3..guide to assist me I would greatly appreciate it...or if it cannot be done this way that too. Thanks a million!

A server is a computer where your webpages are stored. You need a username and password to get access to the server.

To log in at Blogger you need a Blogger account. You need a username and password to get access to the blog.

To connect to the Internet you need an internet account with a Internet Service Provider. You need a username and password to get access to the network.

What it has to do with iWeb, I don't know.

If you don't have a .Mac account and are using an ftp program to upload elsewhere, then no, you don't need .Mac account details for this.

If you registered a domain name, then your domain hosting company will have given you all the details that are needed to be filled in in Cyberduck or any other ftp program. Blogger.com will have given you all these details including username and password and ftp details.

Go back to them and ask them for all these if you don't have them, although if you have an account with them then you should.

This is nothing to do with iWeb or .Mac.

Thank you for the responses. Let me be more precise. I have iweb and actually have a published iweb blog. I would like to prepare a page with that program and send it from my computer to blogspot.com where I also have a small blog, and use it there as I can add to it directly when I am on another computer. So in this case is the server blogger.com? or myname.blogspot.com? or is it MY computer where I have the folder with the page prepared?
It really is easier, I guess, just to use blogger.com directly and not try to first construct the page via iweb.
