modify com.apple.launchd

I did what you shouldn't do and installed an application without knowing much about it (HiroMedia). I didn't like it and it doesn't have an uninstall option. I've deleted all the files I can find, but Console shows that com.apple.launchd[60] is still trying unsuccessfully to launch it every 10 seconds. How do I modify launchd so that it doesn't try to launch com.hiro.Daemon every 10 seconds? I've deleted the file com.hiro.Daemon.

Thanks, Peter.

If you haven't already check in

1. /Library/LaunchAgents
2. /Library/LaunchDaemons
3. ~/Library/LaunchAgents
4. ~/Library/LaunchDaemons
5. System/Library/LaunchAgents
6. System/Library/LaunchDaemons

and delete (or move somewhere else) anything related to HiroMedia. If they are following convention and have .com TLD, it probably looks something like com.hiromedia, etc.

Without going into details about managing launchd agents, the easiest thing once you've deleted the items you've found in the step above is to reboot your computer.
