replaced the dell mouse with hockey puck mouse

I was using a dell logitech mouse which came with my used Graphite G3. The cord on the mouse was too long and the mouse itself was too big. I found a raspberry hockey puck mouse at a yard sale for one dollar. I love the mouse. It is just the right size with the right length cord. One button on a mouse is enough. I am glad the hockey puck mice are still around.

Imac G3 Graphite, Mac OS X (10.4.11), CD ROM drive, DVD drive

A good way to hold that mouse (hated by many) is to put the round body of the mouse in the palm of the hand, instead of holding it near the finger tips. Then, instead of clicking the button with your finger tips, you can use the base of your fingers to click the button. This is actually pretty comfortable because your fingers stay straight, and the tips of your index and middle fingers can feel the mouse's cord between them, which helps with orientation of the round mouse (the #1 complaint).

I don't use that mouse anymore, but I never thought it was as terrible as most people seem to think.

I've been using my imac for the past fews days whilst my
main computer is in for repair.
I use the original hockey puck mouse and matching keyboard
all the time in preference over newer models.

I use the mouse the way Kenichi says,
I just do it without thinking because thats how the mouse
fits in my hand.

My only complaint is that the lead is actually a little too long.
This may be because i have it plugged into the keyboard,
but thats what it was designed to do.
Anyway, Apple should remake the puck mouse in optical mouse form =D
