This only happens about every 30-40 emails (about once a day) but I can't fix it. The subject line on these emails is mismatched with the body. The subject line is usually from the current day but the body is from an email that's in my Inbox that is a few days old.
There seems to be no way to get to the real, current body of the email, even after re-starting Mail.
Any suggestions?
I would then try to rebuild the entire index. Quit Mail and move the file Envelope Index from the folder homedirectory/Library/Mail to the desktop. Start Mail. It will say that it needs to import your messages. let it. It will take a couple of minutes and hopefully fix the problem.
I have the same thing happening. Mine is every email that is off by a fixed measure of time. I did just restore from a time machine backup and I was thinking that was the problem???
