Editing Info of a Podcast

I subscribe to a foreign language learning podcast. They have choses not to include the transcripts of the lessons in the show notes. However, when listening to a monologue lesson on my iPod it would be REALLY helpful to have the transcript there.

I have tried to paste the transcript into the "lyrics" section of each file, but that never seems to get updated on my iPod. It continues to show the original show notes, even after syncing.

I have tried to do it in manual manage mode as well, and have gotten nowhere.

I am able to do this just fine with my music, but haevn't had any success with the podcasts.

Is this possible?
