Mac Pro lost Bluetooth Mouse Connection

Randomly after sleep and after reboots my Bluetooth mouse fails to connect to the Mac Pro. In almost every case I end up having to remove the mouse from the Bluetooth prefs pane and re-add the mouse back using the new Bluetooth device setup, this means I have to have a wired mouse connected to the machine.

This is something I can do, but no way will my family put up with this. As more and more mice move to wireless only this is very annoying.

Anybody have any ideas what might be causing this?

Hi Dave,
I had a similar issue that after a while, the Mac thought my Bluetooth module wasn't present!! ANYWAY, I found that resetting the power management (via pressing and holding the tiny grey round button on the motherboard for 12 sec's) fixed this issue!!
If yours is the Early 2008 Mac Pro, ie. 2.8GHz Quad (or more) then this is to the rear of the mobo at the top!
