Disk too slow error when recording podcast
Hi Guys,
i bought my Macbook about a week ago (this is my first mac, i've been a windows guy since junior high school). i jumped right into garageband the next day to record a podcast that me and my friends make. But while recording the voice track we would frequently get disk too slow messages. Even though it looked like it was still recording it caused me to lose 40 minutes of improvised material....which *****. Has anyone encountered this? is there a fix? also if it helps i have the drive partitioned to run Windows XP. It's split 80/80
