Question

Anyone else unable to rent movies, but can purchase tv shows?

Any one else seeing this? I can buy music and TV shows but when I try to rent a movie it says itunes connection problem please try later. But I don't see anyone else complaining so I figure I must be unique but highly doubt it. Memorial Day weekend and would love to sit back and rent some movies. iTunes store doesn't seem to have a way to notify of issues either.

Macmini 1.42, 80 Gig HD, 1 Gig ram, Mac OS X (10.5.2), Dell 20 in display

Odd, the same thing happened to me last night when trying to rent "The Orphanage." But I was able to rent "There Will Be Blood."

Anyone else afflicted? Hazard a guess as to what's going on?

The Orphanage is the one I wanted to rent also. Hmm sounds like we are on to something. But I thought I had tried some other movie too. But I will go try another one.

That is it, I just rented Sweeny Todd and it worked. What is up with the Orphans? How do you report a problem such as that on iTunes? Thanks for your response, it was a great help.

I have the same problem. However, it seems like only certain movies give me the error. I tried renting "the orphanage" and couldn't. However, older releases worked fine for rental and purchase.
