Is it OK to delete Waveform Cache Files?

Leave them alone, when you start deleting things like waveform cashe files, your computer will need to work harder and slow down. You I think you will also not be able to see your waveforms, which would be a shame for any fine cutting.

If you delete anything current in the waveform cache, FCP will regenerate it when you launch the project where they are needed.

Still, in the overall scheme of things that cache is not large. Unless you have inadvertantly pushed the hard drive right up against the limit, I'd leave it alone.
