Time machine disk icon

I recently installed Windows on my Mac using Boot Camp, and after reboot I noticed that both my Time-machine backup volume and the boot-volume (macintosh hd) have the green-white time-machine icon.
I read some other threads about this, and tried the standard method of disabling TM, removing the com.apple.TimeMachine.prefs-file and rebooting, which solves the problem for a while, but after certain operations (e.g. running Parallels from the Boot Camp volume) the icon changes again.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
