I open an email on my iPhone that has an attachment 'clip' but when it opens there is a message that says, "This message has not been downloaded from the server." They are Word documents, etc., so they should be downloadable. What do I need to do or change to get the attachments to download???
I can only tell you my experience with the same problem using Comcast and Outlook. Because the email is downloaded to my desktop at the same time as my iphone, I get the same message. All I did was go to Outlook on my desktop to: Tools/email accounts/view or change existing email account/next/change/more settings/advanced/delivery/*remove from server after _ days. By extending the days, the email/attachment stays on the server and therefore opens on my iphone. I did this a few days ago and it seems to be working. Good luck!
Hey, thanks for the suggestion. I did what you said (great directions. . ) and noticed that I had it as keeping it for 10 days. I went ahead and changed it to 20 days and forwarded something to myself and it still says the same thing. . . bummer. Any more suggestions?
