Sustain Pedal is reversed?

I am using LP8 with a Korg M1 and a Yamaha sustain pedal. When I turn on the Korg, I have to tell it to reverse the polarity on the pedal to get it to work correctly.
I just picked up a Fatar Studio 90 Plus, and it's the same deal.

Is there a way in Logic to reverse the sense of the sustain pedal?
thanks

Hi,
There,s no way for Logic to reverse that. You should just go out and buy a sustain pedal with either the right polarity or a pedal with a switch that can reverse it. You have 2 keyboards(Korg and Fatar) that needs switches of opposite polarity of your yamaha pedal. Your M1 should retain the settings you change, although. Maybe your lithium battery that keeps your settings in memory is dead?

I'm using a sustain pedal with a korg microconytroller.. Years ago, a lot of controllers what a software toggle which would let the change the up/down'/on/off feature ... I thought there used to be a switch polarity feature somewhere.. I can't find it any more..

I think this is pretty lame... it's counter productive.. I'm forever having to struggle with it, then going back and editing. the sustain notes..

Yes there is a way to reverse this.

However, a) you should be able to save the settings of the reversed polarity on the Korg. or b) buy a pedal with a switch on.

Logic can reverse this if you wish.

Goto the environment "clicks and ports"
Insert a "Transformer object immediately prior to "sequencer input".

The transformer "Status" should be set to control.
data byte 1 should be "64"
data byte 2 should be "all"

Then below data byte select "Use map"
Initialise the map then click reverse.

If you need more detailed instructions let me know.
