Adding a 2nd iPod to iTunes

I just bought my fiancee an iPod Nano for her birthday. Before I add hers to my computer, is this going to be a hassle. Also, is there any way to set up separate libraries for each of our iPods or is it going to automatically just have my library. I have a 30 GB iPod and hers is 8 GB. I listen to a much broader range of music and she's not going to want most of my songs, and I won't want most of hers. Are there any solutions for this? Do I need to find a better program to use than iTunes?

hi, i was faced with the same issue as you have. and all people kept telling me was to make a separate playlists and juts add them to the individual ipods....
but to me this sounds like it would continually be a pain in the *** to have to do.

so what i did was i opened up an additional login name (user account)on my computer, (like where you type your password in when u start the computer)so i have the original which is mine and a separate one for my mum. and what this enabled me to do is to go into her account and install a whole new itunes program on her account. so that all her songs go in there and remain totally separate to my stuff!
its great!

if you dont know how to open a new user account here's how:
1. Click on "Start"
2. At the top of the pop up list there is a picture with your name next to it, click the picture, and a window pops up.
3. Click on the home button at the top.
4. Then it says "Pick a Task...", click on "Create New Account" and go from there!!
Easy As!

Hope this helps you!
