Superdrive (Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-104 Firmware A227)

Hi There,
I was told that I may need a firmware upgrade to use some of the newer media that is out DVDs ect..
I have this slightly antique Superdrive (Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-104 Firmware A227)
and I was wondering if that is the latest firmware for this drive?
I have another external drive, that does Dual Layer, and I know that that firmware is up to date, but I was wonder about my older DVD-RW drive..
Thanks for any help or advice..
Eric

Maybe [this|http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/firmware_hardware/powermacsup erdriveupdate.html]?

I know I was looking for firmware updates recently for my new DVD drive. While one exists, they only have it for Windows machines, and the same may apply to newer updates for your drive. I recall reading that they let Apple do their own firmware updates for Macs.
