If anyone has any suggestions as to where I/we might be able to find an answer to this question it would be greatly appreciated.

Currently Being ModeratedSep 15, 2008 6:06 AM (in response to tboilard)OK...for those who are interested I have found a solution. I upgraded my ES 4 servers to samba-3.0.25b from samba-3.0.10 and I can mount the shares without any problems.
In short OS X Versions > 10.5.2 seem to have issue mounting shares from RedHat ES 4 running samba-3.0.10.
