Contacts

My contacts are store in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 and sync with my Iphone using itunes.
The problem I face is when a call comes in, the name is of the contact is reflected on the phone screen but not reflected when I receive an sms from the same contact. Adding a country code reverses the problem.
Is there a patch or software I can download to help my phone and sms recognise the contact?
