XCode: deleting files

In Xcode 2.4, you select the file in the main project window and either press the delete/backspace button, or control-click and select Delete from the pop-up menu. It then asks if you want to delete the file and all references to it, or just the references, leaving the file still present in the project folder.

For at least three years now, there has been a bug in XCode that effects the Resources folder (at least.) Where it no longer responds to drag and drop and probably not right-clicks either. The files in the folder "go dead." I just close and open the folder and it comes back "alive."

No idea if this is your issue. Another problem could be that you are trying to delete an item that makes no sense to delete or isn't a file or something. Care to share specifics?
