Iphone has a brown spot

Ok, i have had my iPhone since LATE February, and in last couple of days i have noticed a 'brown' spot on the screen. Its not the glass where you touch, but the ACTUAL screen underneath. And its starting to worry me, because i see it getting a little worse.

I have not dropped the phone.
I have not accidentally sat on it.
I wipe my iPhone down every night with a freaking diaper every night. lol, thats a joke.

But I have taken perfect care of my iPhone and to see this happening is upseting me. How much am i looking at here to have this fixed? if anything? am i covered by some kind of warranty?

If you live near an Apple store, you should make an appointment with the Genius Bar and have them look at it. If it's a manufacturing defect, the phone will be replaced/repaired.

If you don't live near an Apple store, contact Apple Care and they will send you a box in which to send your phone to Apple.

I am having the same issue it looks like a white spot on black screens and brown on white screens. I only have about a week or so before the warranty is up I am gonna call apple tonight and see if it can be replaced. I am still on the fence as far as the 3g iphone goes since in my area we still dont have 3g service.
