Q: Floating Point Unit requirements for Typestry software (OS 9)

Hi,

I'm not sure where I should be posting this question, but this is my problem:

I've just installed Pixar Typestry 2.1.1 in Classic OS 9.2.2 on my iBook G4 (running os 10.4). When I try to run the program, this is the message I get. It won't run.

"A Floating Point Unit (FPU) is required to run Typestry."

Could anyone let me know what type of iBook or PowerMac I would need to have in order to run the program? Typestry (circa 1994 software) uses the Renderman engine.

Thanks for any help you can provide or more appropriate discussion area you can point me to.

PowerBook G4 - 12", Mac OS X (10.5.3), iBook G4 -12" (OS 10.4 & 9.2)
