Panasonic DMC-FZ18 Raw supported?

Hi

I've just tried opening a Raw image taken in my new Lumix, does anyone happen to know if the DMC-FZ18 is supported in OSX 10.5.3 please?

Many thanks

No one outside of Apple knows what plans Apple have, if any, to support any camera. Even if someone posting on this User to User forum did, they would be unable to comment due to non-disclosure agreements and so on. So, no point in complaining here.

http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/digitalcamerarawcompatibilityupdate21.htm l

lists the cameras added with 10.5.3

http://www.apple.com/aperture/specs/raw.html

is a list of cameras supported to 10.5.2

And, you can, of course, go the route of converting to DNG and then bringing them into Aperture:

Baseline DNG support
Shooting RAW on a camera or camera back not natively supported by Mac OS X? Aperture lets you work with DNGs created from the RAW files generated by most cameras, increasing its breadth of support.

That's from

Please note the word "most" above. As far as I understand, there are quite a few cameras for which not even the DNG solution works.
