Entourage problem

Every time i try to open entourage program from Office 2004 there is an error report : The Rules file appears corrupt. Rules cannot be used. Please help me. I tried to install the program again, but the problem remains. Thank you

Try This:

CAUSE
This issue may occur if the Rules file for your identity has been corrupted.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, re-create the Rules file for your identity:
1. Drag the Rules file for your identity to the desktop. The Rules file for your identity is stored in the following Identity folder:
Hard disk\Documents:Microsoft User Data\Microsoft Office 2008
Identities\Your Identity Folder
2. Start Entourage or Outlook Express.
3. Re-create your Rules.

Looks like the recommended method by Microsoft did not fix it. Look through other folders within the Microsoft User Data folder for other "Rules" files, following the same process with each.

Ensure that you are dragging the files to the desktop instead of trashing them. You may have to trash them eventually but do not do that unless you are certain that one or all of the dragged files are corrupt.
