Aperture previews & thumbnails not matching

I've seen a couple of threads on this but has there been any resolution?

Basically the small thumbnails in the browser do not match the actual photo's themselves. I have deleted the thumbnail previews within the aperture package but this has not made thing any better.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

One thing not mentioned by bagelturf is that the master image has to be local, if the master image is on a CD separately it won't work. Even after following the steps listed with the CD in place, once the CD is removed, it goes back to showing the wrong images again for the thumbnails.

Any other ideas on how to fix this problem permanently? Will upgrading to AP2.xx work any better?

I don't seem to be able to recreate your suggestion. Can you be very specific- for example, exactly which icon, which keys (option+apple?), in what order, and how long to hold them? Nothing at all happened when I attempted this, and I seem to be unable to find this "consistency check" option.

I had the mismatched previews, and after trying the bagelturf suggestion, I now have no previews in that project at all. I then rebuilt the library, and it made no difference.
