Quickly accessing Turkish characters.

I've made a few friends on holiday in Turkey last week and want to speak to them + learn Turkish through MSN, but there's no way of getting through the following characters: ş, ı and ğ, without opening up that special characters programme, which takes too long for what I'm doing. Can they be quickly accessed, and how?

Thanks...!

which program do you mean?

You can add Turkish to the input menu and put the input menu in the menu bar.

To do that go to system preferences->international->input menu. check the checkbox next to Turkish on the language list and also check the box at the bottom to show the input menu in the menu bar.

To make switching even quicker you can set keyboard shortcuts to do that. Those are set in system preferences->keyboard&mouse->keyboard shortcuts.
