AVI file with H264 Baseline Profile?

I need to create an .avi file with the following specs: H264 Baseline Profile, 464 kb/sec Data Rate, 30 fps; AAC-LC Audio with 48kbps Data Rate and 32 kHz Sample Rate. The only thing I could find in Compressor's avi options were the QT Export Options which are fairly limited, and do not include those options that I need.

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Other compression software that may do the trick?

Thanks!

G5, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

Can not yet be done using Compressor.

You can maybe do it using MPEG Streamclip (I am not sure how you get the baseline profile though).

1. Download and install MPEG Streamclip
2. Open your clip and choose File > Export to AVI...
3. Select H.264 compression and MPEG-4 AAC sound
4. Set any other prefered settings (like limited data rate, multipass, frame size etc...)
5. Hit the Make AVI button

I tried making an H.264 file wrapped in an AVI container using MPEG Streamclip, but I could not play it in any application on my Mac.

I got the following error in VLC: main: no suitable decoder module for fourcc `undf'.
VLC probably does not support this sound or video format.

This might be a no go, even with MPEG Streamclip.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but why would you want to wrap H.264 in an AVI container? Why not wrap it in MP4 or MOV?
