Export: pdf: missing shadows::

Hi
When i export my presentation to a pdf the shadows that i created within keynote are missing. I also tried creating a pdf from the print option.

Keynote: 1.1.1.

Welcome to the discussions, Jerry.

That is a known problem with Keynote 1. In order to get the shadows, you'll have to upgrade to Keynote 2.

I just exported a file with drop shadows to a pdf in Keynote 2.0.2 and the shadows did NOT show up in the pdf. Any suggestions?

Did you view the PDF in Preview or Acrobat? Keynote 2 does indeed export shadows (and it can print them too) but there's a weird glitch with both Pages and Keynote when viewing in Acrobat. Preview is fine, as is printing from either app and choosing PDF-X instead of exporting. I guess that format works correctly with the shadows.

Thanks, Brian, you were right on target. Shadows are great in preview.

Now, is it possible to preserve interactivity (hyperlinks) in a PDF? I know I can add them back with Acrobat Pro, but I've got over 100 links!
