key note presentation crashes on slide transition

Question

key note presentation crashes on slide transition

Can anyone help? I have just started using keynote on my ibook,put together a presentation complete with builds and slide transitions. when I go to play I get a message saying 'keynote has to close' after the first slide transition. this keeps happening. I can switch between slides in normal view, it only happens when playing a slide show. Any simple solutions - I am a beginner!!!

Have you updated Keynote to version 2.0.2?

Also, is there some way you can upload the file so others (me) can see if it crashes their (mine) version of Keynote at the same place?

No,I haven't updated yet as I only bought it last week! I will try. Don't know if it makes a difference but when I imported a powerpoint pres already with transitions it played okay.

I downloaded the new upgrade 10.4.3 and ran programs that always had crashed in Tiger. I am delighted to report that none of them now crash. I partitioned my newest GE to inlcude both Tiger and Panther. If I ws presenting a lecture out of school with time restraints I still would be most comfortable booting and presenting the material in Panther but this is a major improvement in my world..

Wow, I have sorted it. I think!I found another query that was similar and it mentioned having text that was not in the text box causing a slide to crash. I made fonts smaller and and resized the boxes and it worked.
