Here's the problem:
Since I've always known that iPhone only supports songs from one single computer, I've been uploading songs manually to the phone at a same computer.
But today, when I tried to transfer some songs to the phone, the song list was all in a light grey tone.
I immediatly wondered that iTunes was supposing that I was trying to transfer it using another library.
So I went to the main menu on iTunes and checked the option to manually sync the files. When applying, it said that it's synced with another iTunes library.
I haven't changed the iTunes version or any main configurations on the iPhone (my firware is 1.1.4).
What should I do?
The only option it gives me is to erase it all and start all over again!
What woulb be the problem that's happening here?
Thanks!

I don't know of any way to manually upload songs to an iPhone without hacking it. If this is what you did of course iTunes won't recognize the tracks you uploaded.

    Something that might help.
Somehow, itunes thinks this iphone was sync to another computer.
Otherwise, the erase message would not pop up.

One thing to try is to reset the iphone by holding down the power button and home button at the same time until you see the white apple logo on the iphone screen.

Then connect it back to the computer.

If that does not resolve the issue, then you might need to let itunes rewrite the settings on the iphone by letting it do the erase and sync.

    Hope this helps.

I recently got a new computer and set it to sync contacts & calanders with my iphone. I copied some CD's to itunes that I want to sync (download) to my iphone. When I attempt to do this I get a warning message that doing so would erase all the music on my iphone. Is therre any way to avoid this?

No, the iphone will only sync media from one computer at a time.
If you try to sync media from another computer or user account, you get the erase message.

Contacts and calendars can sync from multiple compuers.
Itunes will ask if you want to merge the data.

However, if you decide to to move your library to your new computer, this article from the apple support website might help out.

You can use and external or thumb drive with this article also.

    Hope this helps.
