Does anybody know where I can get an older version of iTunes? Mine doesn't work after the most recent upgrade and it worked fine before. I have a second Mac, with an older version of iTunes and it works just fine, using the same files and drives that won't work with the newer Mac with the latest itunes upgrade. I am pretty sure this is a problem caused somewhere in itunes 7.6 upgrades.

    I found [this|http://www.filehippo.com/download_itunes/?2919] using a web search.

Thanks. I will install the older version when I get home from work today to see if that fixes my problems.

All I could get at that site were Windows versions. I need a Mac version.

Just a note to say that I found an older version of iTunes, installed it and reloaded my entire library but that did not fix the problem. So as far as I can tell, the problem with iTunes locking up about 5 sec into a song or movie is not a feature of 7.6 but something else. I noticed that people with both Macs and Windows are complaining of the same problem.

Sorry, I saw all those really early versions there and thought they were for Mac. I didn't think iTunes bothered with the Windows platform until it brought out the iPod and the iTunes store when it made sense to go multi-platform.

Just in case somebody else needs it I also found [this site|http://mac.oldapps.com/itunes.php] which does purport to have old Mac versions.
