Groupwise setup with iPhone

As far as official announcements from Apple, no. No support as of yet. Novell would have to develop something.

Groupwise has the ability to do both POP and IMAP......IF you GW admin has set up the mail servers to do that. Also, the admins must allow POP or IMAP connections to go outside your company/organization. If they've done that, you can setup you iPhone email client to access your GW mail via POP or IMAP.

I already use my iPhone with Groupwise at work and Gmail for personal e-mail. My challenge is calendar use. I'm hoping the new software release will help in this regard as I currently have to pull GW calendar info into MS Outlook and then sync via cable connection to my iPhone, which I've only been able to get one way transfer of data - from computer to phone, and not phone back to computer. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

Has anyone tried using Groupwise web access as a solution? Does it work?

Best solution will be Notifylink, once the client for iPhone will be out (promised for july) ....

I have just started using NotifyLink which is now available on the iPhone with Groupwise, it also supports lots of other handsets, like Palm Trio, Windows Mobiles, Nokias.

You can get it in the UK from a company called London Web.

Have you had any luck dealing with the issue of mail deleted via the iPhone showing up in the GW client with a strikethrough?
