Can't turn off MUTE Sound in System preferences

I have the same problem and nobody knows the solution in these universe :-(((

Somebody knows, but not here, because you are in the wrong forum. TimeMachine has nothing to do with audio.

Try resetting PRAM:

1. Shut down.
2. Locate the keys: ⌘, option, P, and R.
3. Turn on the mac, and hold ⌘ option+PR until you hear the second chime.
4. Let the mac start. The problem should now be fixed.
