Why won't my iTunes purchases sync to Apple TV?

After purchasing from iTunes to my iMac for several years, I recently made my first iTunes purchase directly from Apple TV.

Although these purchases show up in my "TV Shows" and "Purchased" Libraries, they do not show on my "Purchased on Apple TV" library. Therefore, I am unable to sync and watch on my Apple TV.

G5, Macbook and Powerbook G4, Mac OS X (10.5.3)

I recently purchased a TV show series on iTunes via my Television. Although this purchase shows up on my iMac, it does not show up on my Apple TV.

I purchased several other TV shows at the same time via my Television and they appear on my Apple TV. Any idea why one particular series does not appear on Apple TV?
