changing pitch bend range in logic

i want to change the pitch bend range so that it goes really high.

How do i change the range of the pitch bend in Logic??

There is no such thing. Logic only knows about the whole 14-bit pitch bend value range. It has no idea what parameters or instruments that data is controlling.

So, for instance, if you are using the ES2, it's in this that you set the pitch bend range (ie, make the whole 14-bit pitch wheel data correspond to +/- 2 semitones, or +/- 2 octaves, or whatever.

So it's a function of the instrument you are using, not Logic.

Look at the pitch bend range parameter in whatever instrument you are using.

In a studio i once made a track in, the engineer put a pitch bend effect on a
kik drum that made the pitch rise up at the very end. I cant seem to find what it was. I thought it was the pitch wheel from quikquak. But now ive got it im not so sure.
Do you know any plugins or presets for any plugins that make this sort of effect.
I want to try and avoid automation you see.
