I see the new iSkin Fuze for iPhone on the iSkin site...has anyone seen one of these in person yet? I love my iSkin Revo but this looks even nicer...a rubberized hard shell case with a soft cushion layer between the case and the phone. It's got a great look to it, as well.
I wrote customer service asking if this will fit both generation one and two iPhone models...I hope it does.

Dell XPS 410/Vista, 2 other Dell/Vista machines,  iPhone, and  MacBook/Leopard,
Windows Vista,
Finally got my  MacBook! WOO!
I got my fuse in today. So far I am liking it. Its a hard case with rubber, I like the fact the back of the case is hard. So if I bang it up against something while it is in my pocket it wont dent the back of the phone.
I have really been happy with my iSkin case I bought for my original phone, and am super excited for the Fuze, however, I am getting the 3G iPhone, so I will wait until then to purchase. I can only hope they can get the Fuze out for the 3G iPhone quickly, because I don't want to go long without a case. Anywho, the Fuze seems to solve all the problems, albeit few, that I have with the current iPhone case.
I haven't seen the new Fuse case yet, but it sounds awesome.
Real quick though, I'm usually a bit worried to use a restrictive case with my iPhone because I figure it could possibly effect my reception...or even diminish my battery life by affecting the temp of the battery. Have you noticed any of these factors with the new case?
Well I just got the case and I am sending it back. I am doing so because with the case on the phone, it becomes more slippery. The back of the case is hard plastic with a rubber film coating on the back. I am going to go back to the iskin revo.
Got it...sending it back. It just makes the phone bulkier. Also, mine didn't fit together seamlessly (top and bottom pieces). I use my phone in a Bose dock quite frequently and it would be a pain to take that apart every time. For now, going bareback! Why have a sleek sexy phone and then cover it up? I give up on a decent low profile case. I just walk around the house and tile floor very gingerly...
I have never been happy with cases but the new iPhone was a bit too slippery for me so I looked for some kind of grip tape.
I found a good solution is "bowling ball" thumb tape. You can get it any bowling alley and it comes in short pieces that are rounded so they don't look too bad. I care more about how it works and not dropping it over how it looks. The tape I have is white but I think it can come in different colors.
I put four pieces one on each corner. Where my fingers hold the phone. I found it very helpful with the grip of the phone.
I have had the REVO for my iPhone since 2007 when it was introduced. I just got the FUZE TITAN today and it looks great. Very easy to install. The FUZE offers more protection than the REVO because of its polycarbonate case. It is more durable than the flexible rubber case of the REVO design. The FUZE design does not include the rubber flap covering the headphone jack making installation of a headphone jack much easier. I do like the built-in dock connector protection. My REVO connector plug got loose over time and would fall out of the iPhone. The REVO looks great. The upper case with its silver mimics the chrome on the iPhone.
