Need help with permissions fix for tcpdump

Hello All,

On one of my mini's I get the following whenever I repair permissions:

"Permissions differ on "usr/sbin/tcpdump", should be -rwxr-xr-x , they are -rwsr-xr-x ."

But Disk Utility won't repair it saying:
"Warning: SUID file "usr/sbin/tcpdump" has been modified and will not be repaired."

Does anyone know the exact commands I would use in terminal to correct the permissions on this file?

Thanks in advance for your help!
Jamy

Well, I don't have any problems getting rid of that bit in /Applications, but then I didn't have anything with that bit set so had to set it first. Could be ACLs getting in your way.

Regardless, you're right those errors can be ignored. And, not all suid bits should be removed. tcpdump, however, does not need that bit set, so it should have been removed...
