iMac: Headphones: Wireless? Mic?

I'd like to get a pair of headphones for my iMac. I've never used like Skype or anything but I'd like to try it. I would imagine I should get headphones with a mic attached too. Wireless doesn't really matter. I don't want to spend too much, just want a decent set. I'll be playing Crysis, COD4, etc. Any recommendations??

Have you got a Bluetooth headset for your phone? You could try that for Skype. Not so good for music.

No, I don't have anything at this point. That's why I was asking because I don't know a lot about this stuff. With the iMac can you use headphones to listen and than use the built in mic on the computer to talk to people?? That's probably not gonna happen but I'd like to know for sure.

Yes, that is the best way to use Skype.
