Vocoder in Mainstage?

Is there a way to get the Vocoder to work in Mainstage LIVE? I managed to get it to work in Logic on a recorded track, but I'd love to be able to patch it up live in MainStage for some vocal fun. Someone on another forum mentioned using Soundflower to patch it over to Mainstage but I have no idea if he was just conjecturing or if he'd actually done it.

8 Core MP 5GB ram X1900/MBP 17" 2.33 FCS2/Logic 8, Mac OS X (10.4.10), iWork and iLife 08, etc.

You don't need Soundflower, only MainStage.
Make a new patch with one Audio-Channelstrip and select here the input where your microphone is pluged-in. Then add one Software-Instrument Channelstrip with the Vocoder-Plugin loaded. Then insert the Audio-Input as your sidechain in the right top of the Vocoder-Plugin-window. Thats all.
