IV41 Codec?

I am trying to play a video but when I open it is says it needs a component that I do not have. The codec it lists is called IV41. I have never heard of this and I was wondering where I would get this codec. Did a google search and nothing of use came up.

Mac Book Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.3), HP Pavillion a1630n Athalon X2 4600+ 2GB RAM EVGA GeForce 8800GT

Indeo Video codecs will only work in "Classic". Do some more Google searching.

IV41 is a defunct codec, no longer supported.

The 'Classic' QuicktimeKirk refers to is OS 9.

I know for a fact that people have gotten it to work with Windows after a little playing around I am wondering if I can get it to work with Macs.
