In Numbers is there something similar to Excel Format Painter?

I've not found anything like EXCELS format painter, where you can copy the format of a file (column width, colors, underlines, etc) and apply to a new file. Any help?

under the format menu is a Copy Formats and Paste formats Commands. Along with keyboard shortcuts to do both.

it copies true formatting properties for that cell, NOT the column or Row, meaning I do not believe that it modifies the column width. I use the inspector to do this.

Different program, different tools and locations. Once i learned them, I am far more efficient in numbers than I am in XL now. (And I have been using excel for 20+ years.)

Have fun,
Jason
