Game / Flash problem? Maybe Shockwave

so on my PC (XP), I can play iSketch ( http://www.iSketch.net) perfectly

but on my macbook, using safari, it seems to run slow, and when I type in the type box for the game, the letters lag after I type them and sometimes it misses a letter.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks 🙂
