Discount for UK Police

Sorry, I couldn't find anywhere to put this, so here it goes.

Thinking of converting to the "white" side, and someone told me that Apple do a discount for UK police officers.

Is this true? and I assume I would have to go into the store and produce my warrant card.

PC at the moment, Windows XP

Mike,(lima,Foxtrot Charlie.....over!)sorry couldn't resist that.
I'm in the NHS and we get a discount through the Apple Employee Purchase program through NHS discounts.Saved me about 80 quid on the cost of the iMac.Check with your IT/Intranet at work if they run anything similar.
Failing that,get a warrant and impound your own Apple Store! ; )

Just for info for anyone else reading this, I rang up and yes UK police officers do get 6% off of apple product. Online only, which is odd. not sure how I am going to prove I am a copper just buying online. But hey, cross that bridge when i come to it.
