The only thing you can do is to let it dry longer. If you have the plastic tools for safely opening an iPod without damage (and you have done it before), open the iPod to make the evaporation more effective. I would remove the connectors from the little sockets (including the hard drive) to ensure moisture inside the connectors is gone. That would probably be the last place to dry out, and the most critical for making the iPod work properly.

i agree w/kanichi you must open it carefully
and disconnect to dry.
else check attch site or like for repair
google is a real good tool- use diffrnt search terms
