Problems uploading Youtube videos

Got the same problem.

Upload seems fine, but at the end there's a message that iMovie is waiting for authentication that never comes, and then I get a time-out error asking if I lost connection to the server.

I had the same probleme. After trying 3 times i looked at YouTube and my film was published.
Wat happens here?

I am fighting with this problem too it's only been happening since the iMovie update.

I do wish apple would sort this problem out

I assume, these discriptions of failures lead to conclusion, this isn't iM fault (e.g. time out prob).


keep your projects short (max.10min), get a fast connection.. done. 🙂

Same with me - high speed connection, video 8mins long 'mobile size' from imovie - just get time out when waiting for confirmation after the thing has uploaded. This is a pain - any ideas out there?

G'day mate I have this problem with some of my videos too. I'm actually trying to upload a video now that I had removed a photoshop photo that I use for the the start of the video. Hopefully it will work.

A few other steps I would take would be

*Change the name of your project make it simple and short
*Try cutting out unnecessary transitions
*Change photos or stills that you are using in the program
*Try moving the project into another folder or new one
*Maybe try creating a youtube account just to test


The next step I'll be taking after those I'll ring Apple care for some help if any.
