How to encode MOV files in H.263-basic

Hi,

I need to create a .mov file encoded in h.263-basic , Can QuickTime or any other tool do this ?

QuickTime Pro can export using the H.263 video codec.
Please explain your need for such an old codec and what you mean by "basic"?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, I have a radvision 3G gateway which needs the mov file to be encoded in the native H.263 format (i.e. without any annexes).

It also supports the following,

-H.263
-H.263+ (Annexes F, I,J, K, T)
-H.264 baseline profile level 1

Can QT pro save files specifically in these formats ?

I think you should spend the $30 (U.S.) and give QuickTime Pro upgrade some tests.
H.264 Video codec will get you much better quality as H.263 was intended for "video" conferencing applications (iChat and AOL most recently).
