Copy Formula Down Column

In Excel I'm used to copying my formula down an entire column by merely double-click the lower right corner of a cell. This action in Numbers opens the mini-formula editor. Is there a way other than copying my cell and then selecting the rest of the cells and pasting or dragging that corner down manually to accomplish this? It is an enormous time saver to be able to just double-click that corner and populate the formula on down.
