Call of Duty 2

Question

Call of Duty 2

Not sure where in the world to post this, but has anyone been able to activate any of the cheats?

I can load the various levels, but none of the cheats (like god mode, give ammo) work.

Half of the fun of games like this to me is the cheating - I love playing rambo!

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.8)

"To enable cheats in Call of Duty 2, select the System menu and then go into the game options found under Options. Next to Enable Console, click “No” to turn it into “Yes.” Then press the Tilde (~) key to bring up the console at the top of the screen. Type “developer 1” (without the quotes) and press the Return key. This will enable you to enter the cheats shown below."

Wow - apparently people like dredging up four day old posts just to post something.

@MyKidsDad - You weren't rude, and I realized (per my original post) I was likely barking up the wrong tree. I never said anything about playing online (I don't enjoy getting dominated by 14 year olds who have too much free time) so I'm not worried about finding a server. I googled all over, and the final solution is to load the level then apply cheat codes - and I find I have to do that every time (manually load the level, apply codes). Suggesting "go google something" is like saying "breathe" - that's the first stop. You might as well have posted nothing (just let my original rfh drift off into the void).

COD4 is headed to the Mac in August btw...

@Churto - Go back to digg with stupid comments like that. I enjoy getting unlimited frags - it's nice to have my own personal bombing run. And Solaris blows.

Not meaning to be rude at all; this isn't the right forum for this question. Try googling COD2 cheat codes and look up COD communities such as codutility.com. Finding info about COD2 can be a little tough since they're already up by 2 versions. Finding an active COD2 server that will enjoy a Rambo online is even tougher. Online COD's that I've played on don't usually take well to someone using cheat codes or even suspicions of it.

Goggling "call of duty 2 mac cheats" or "activating call of duty 2 mac cheats" gets you lots of results. I'm sure if somebody has done this successfully it would be on a COD forum not Apple discussions.
Aren't have developing COD5 for PS3 already anyway? I'm not into COD.

Seriously, is the original post about getting the cheats working specifically on a Mac Pro (under Tiger / Leopard ) ? Or just in general ? They work fine on Panther. Not tried them yet on my MP (10.5.2). I can if this is the question.

/yawn - I appreciate that, but that's within the first 10 google results when searching for "COD2 mac".

Great help, but alone, this particular set of cheats does not do anything.
