which games are compatible with the 3rd generation ?

I'm quite sure you see that message no matter what you buy. I've started ignoring that and just looking at the write up where you preview it. They really should rewrite that warning. To be sure, post the game you want here and we'll see if anyone already bought it for the Nano 3G. So far I've got Zuma, PacMan, Scrabble, Monopoly, and Chess/Backgammon with no operational issues. Oh yeah I even bought one that was NOT supported (the better solitaire one) and this forum told me to write to Apple for a refund and I got my money back.

ive been wondering about this to because in the games menu it says "games are compatible with 3rd gen nano 5th gen classic and something else but when u get into the downloading and purchases stages it tells u in very fine print only on the 5th gen classic or atleast thats what happened on the games i wanted its very annoying

This appears to be a moving target. The solitare game I was talking about and Lost are not listed at least not that I can see.

As I said - you shouldn't worry about it. I've had Apple refund my money when I downloaded a game that was listed as not usable on my iPod nano 3G

Is it possible the compatibility with my iPod nano 3rd generation?

Currently, all of the games except for Lost are compatible with your iPod.

No - you might be able to find something similar, but if it says iPhone it's not going to run on any nano.
